Being Estella-Lizarra “City of the Way,” it can be reached as a pilgrim, both by bicycle and on foot. Within the so-called “French Way,” Estella-Lizarra is the end of the fifth stage (22 kilometers), which begins in Puente La Reina.

As a resting point between this fifth and sixth stage, which connects it to Los Arcos, Estella-Lizarra presents itself as an unbeatable place to take a long break of more than one day and fully immerse oneself in the local gastronomy, culture, and history.

Many pilgrims consider Estella-Lizarra one of the most important stops on the way regarding cultural visits. And, undoubtedly, La Rúa street is its epicenter.

The city is part of the Association of Municipalities of the Camino de Santiago, which includes around 110 Spanish localities.
